
But I love the colors in this photo I took at Cocoliche last weekend. But yes, it was so hot and smokey and sweaty that I had to step outside...and not return.
At our best and most fortunate we make pictures because of what stands before our camera, to honor what is greater and more interesting than we are. We never accomplish this perfectly, though in return we are given something perfect--a sense of inclusion. Our subject thus redefines us, and is part of the biography by which we want to be known.
how do people react when they peep you taking pictures at a club? what do you think they're thinking?
ReplyDeleteclub photography--lighting aside--is either like "yeah, take a photo of me partying!" or "it is so dark/i am so wasted that i hardly notice anything." here, it was so dark that people couldn't really see me shooting unless i got right in their faces. xo
